Zecira Musovic took her first steps on the football pitch at Stattena IF in Helsingborg before signing with FC Rosengård (then known as Ldb Malmö) in 2013. That same year, she made her debut in Damallsvenskan when the team drew 2–2 against Tyresö FF.
In total, she played 187 matches for FC Rosengård, winning four Swedish league titles, three Swedish Cups, two Supercup titles, and featuring in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, before moving to English powerhouse Chelsea FC in the Women’s Super League in 2020.
In England, Musovic achieved significant success with Chelsea, winning five consecutive league titles, three FA Cup trophies, and two League Cup titles. Altogether, she played 52 matches for Chelsea, recording 27 clean sheets.
Zecira Musovic also boasts an impressive international record, earning 27 caps for Sweden. She debuted for the national team in 2018 against Russia and was Sweden’s starting goalkeeper at the 2023 World Cup, where the team secured the bronze medal. In that tournament, Musovic kept clean sheets in half of her matches and was named player of the match in the round of 16 against the United States.
