Wilma Carlsson

Wilma Carlsson began playing football at the age of six with Furunäs/Bullmarks IK before moving on to Sävar IK.

At just 15 years old, she made her Damallsvenskan debut for Umeå IK, where she spent several seasons building experience at the highest level. Her time in Umeå included both challenging periods with injury and valuable playing time in both Damallsvenskan and Elitettan.

Ahead of the 2023 season, Wilma joined Piteå IF, where she quickly established herself as a key player. During her time at the club, she was part of the team that won the Swedish Cup in 2024.

She has also represented Sweden at youth international level, featuring for both the U17 and U23 national teams, and was selected for the national team’s January camp in 2022.

In December 2025, Wilma signed a three-year contract with Malmö FF.
