Tilde began her football career at the age of six with Uppåkra IF. It was also there that she later made her senior debut at 15 years old, playing in Division 2.

She then moved on to Vellinge IF, where during the 2025 season Tilde was one of the key players in a team that exceeded expectations and finished fifth in Division 1 Södra.

Ahead of the 2026 season, Tilde Benilsson signed for Malmö FF.
