Mayar Khatawi

Mayar Khatawi was born in Malmö in 2010 and moved to Småland at the age of six. She began playing football with IFK Stockaryd/Rörviks IF, but when her family returned to Malmö a few years later, she was given the opportunity to join Malmö FF’s team for girls born in 2010/2011.

Since then, the talented winger has steadily progressed through the age groups and now combines her studies at Malmö Idrottsgrundskola with training and playing for both the U19 and first team. In January 2025 Mayar Khatawi was part of the squad during the first team’s training camp in Spain. And in april 2025 she became the youngest player so far to play in OBOS Damallsvenskan when she made her debut away against AIK at the age of 14.

After turning 15, she signed a first-team contract with Malmö FF in June 2025.
