BK Höllviken
Lovisa Breland began playing football at the age of five with BK Höllviken. In 2024, at 14, she joined Malmö FF and spent her first year with our Academy team in Division 3. At the start of the 2025 season, she was promoted to the U19 team, where she scored five goals in seven matches in the U19 Allsvenskan during the spring. Following the spring season, Lovisa was promoted to the first team and began training regularly with the women’s side after they returned from their summer break.
Her first-team debut also came during the summer. In a friendly against Trelleborgs FF, she came on at halftime and played 45 minutes. In the following match against Vittsjö GIK, she was given a starting spot.
Lovisa is a skillful attacking midfielder capable of playing in several different attacking positions. She is technical, composed on the ball, and has a nose for goal.
She has eight youth international caps to her name and was selected for the Open Scandinavian Tournament in early August, but unfortunately had to withdraw due to a head injury sustained against Vittsjö.
In the summer of 2025, Lovisa Breland signed a three-year first-team contract with Malmö FF.
