Ellen Löfqvist

At the age of 14, Ellen Löfqvist made her debut in Division 1 with Alnö IF before moving on to play for Sundsvalls DFF. In 2016, she took the step up to the top tier with Piteå IF.

In the 2018 season, at just 20 years old, she was entrusted with the captain’s armband, and that same year, Piteå IF became Swedish champions for the first time. She also made history in May when she played a key part in Piteå’s first-ever cup title with a 1–0 victory over BK Häcken.

During the 2024 season, she played in all of Piteå’s matches in the OBOS Damallsvenskan and was named Norrbotten’s Player of the Year. Ahead of the 2025 season Ellen Löfqvist signed for Malmö FF.
