There, she won the Australian championship with her new club in her very first season.

In 2020, Amy Sayer moved to the United States to study at Stanford University, continuing her career in college football and later at league level with San Francisco Glens SC in the USL W League.

In the summer of 2023, she was signed by Kristianstads DFF, where she quickly demonstrated her qualities before suffering an unfortunate injury early in 2024. Despite the injury, her contract with KDFF was extended, and during the past season she played 22 matches, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the OBOS Damallsvenskan.

Her progress in Sweden has also led to a return to international football with the Matildas. At just 16 years old, she was called up to her first senior national team camp, and since then she has earned 19 senior caps and scored four goals.

Ahead of the 2026 season, Amy Sayer signed a three-year contract with Malmö FF.
