Halmstads BK
Sead Haksabanovic began playing football at the age of six with Halmstads BK. At 15, he became the second youngest debutant in Allsvenskan history when he stepped onto the pitch for HBK in April 2015. In 2017, Haksabanovic was signed by Premier League club West Ham United but was immediately loaned to Málaga.
After his spell in Spain, he was loaned out again, this time to IFK Norrköping, who later bought the midfielder from West Ham. Following strong performances with “Peking,” Haksabanovic moved abroad once again, this time to Russian side Rubin Kazan. After a year in Russia, Haksabanovic was loaned to Djurgården before securing a permanent move to Celtic FC in Scotland. After another loan spell at Stoke City, Sead Haksabanovic was signed by Malmö FF in the summer of 2024.
