Oscar Lewicki was born and raised in Malmö and joined Malmö FF from Limhamns IF at the age of 13. He was a member of MFF’s first graduating class from the school football academy and chose to continue his development in FC Bayern Munich’s youth team, from which he moved to BK Häcken in the summer of 2011.
Ahead of the 2015 season, he returned to Malmö FF with great success. He was part of the team that qualified for the Champions League group stage and that same year became a U21 European champion with Sweden. He also delivered strong performances when Sweden’s senior national team defeated Denmark in the playoff for the European Championship.
In 2016, he won his first Swedish Championship with MFF and represented Sweden at the European Championship in France. During the 2017 season, he played in every match except one as MFF won their 20th Swedish Championship. In 2020, MFF won the league title again, and Oscar Lewicki featured in 23 matches. Since then, he has won three more Swedish Championships, taking his tally to six—joint second-most Swedish league titles any player in history has won for the club.
