Arnór Sigurdsson made his debut in the Icelandic top division at just 16 years old with his boyhood club IA Akraness. In 2017, he was signed by IFK Norrköping, and the following year, he had his breakthrough season, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 17 matches.
His success in Allsvenskan led to a move to CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2018, where he quickly made an impact – including a standout performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League. After a loan spell at Venezia in the 2021/2022 season, he returned to IFK Norrköping and was one of Allsvenskan’s absolute best players during the autumn of 2022 and spring of 2023. He then moved on to Blackburn Rovers FC.
Ahead of the 2025 season, Sigurdsson once again returned to Allsvenskan, this time to play for Malmö FF.
On the international stage, he made his debut for the Icelandic national team at 19 and has earned 34 caps.
