Anders Christiansen signed for Malmö FF on January 26, 2016, from Italian club AC Chievo Verona. He made his Allsvenskan debut against IFK Norrköping, scoring a goal right away. After strong performances during the title-winning seasons of 2016 and 2017, “AC” received two major awards at Allsvenskans Stora Pris in 2017 – Midfielder of the Year and Most Valuable Player of the Year.
After a brief stint at Belgian club KAA Gent, Christiansen rejoined MFF in the summer of 2018. Since then, he has become the team captain, won four more Swedish Championship titles, and played in the group stages of both the Champions League and the Europa League.
