Sebastian Jörgensen

Sebastian Jörgensen represented Silkeborg IF from his early teens. He was promoted to the first team and made his senior debut at the age of 18 in a cup match, where he also scored. During his first full season at Silkeborg, he played 15 matches as the team qualified for the Superligaen.

His first year in the Superligaen saw limited playing time and ended with relegation. However, Sebastian Jörgensen’s breakthrough came in the 2020/21 season, when he again was part of helping the team to secure promotion to Denmark’s top league. This time, the team exceeded all expectations, finishing third in the league and securing a spot in Europe. Jörgensen delivered standout performances and was rewarded with a call-up to the U21 national team.

During his time at Silkeborg, Jörgensen also registered two goals and as many assists in the UEFA Conference League. Over 129 appearances for Silkeborg IF, Sebastian Jörgensen scored 32 goals and provided 24 assists before signing with MFF in the summer of 2023
